Our CSI Initiatives

Corporate Social Initiatives have always been close to the heart of Morar Incorporated. Supporting those who are in need and who are in less fortunate circumstances is something we value as an organisation. We rise by lifting each other up. There are a few causes we have supported over the years that we would love to share with you!

The Community Chest Projects
As a company, we have proudly supported the events, fundraising initiatives and awareness campaigns of The Community Chest. The vision of this amazing organisation is to enhance communities and to restore hope. We partner with their mission of inspiring and facilitating the community in giving and in action.
Morar Incorporated Employees make a monthly contribution to the work of Community Chest. To date, we have given R60 624.00 to their various projects.

For Mr Morar’s 2020 birthday we sponsored 200 burger meals (burgers, juices and sweets) to 200 children living in the informal settlement of Ezinketheni, near Copesville. It was a delicious affair!
In a gesture of extraordinary philanthropy, Mr Morar recently joined the ranks of other like-minded philanthropists by signing up as a member of the Community Chest’s Red Feather Legacy Project – a project aimed at ensuring that the work of the Community Chest endures for another 58 years and more.

Better Future
The development of less fortunate children has been one of our essential areas of support. Morar Incorporated believes children are our future leaders. Therefore we must invest in their development, helping them to achieve a brighter tomorrow.

We donated printers to schools and also participated in a book drive. We believe knowledge is power, and we want children to have access to books that will not only stimulate their imagination and dreams but provide them with helpful information.

Aryan Benevolent Senior Citizen Home

We care for the ones who cared for us. No matter where you live, there are senior citizens who need help. We believe a great way get started giving back is to simply be mindful of opportunities that appear in the moment. With this in mind, we held a clothing drive for the Aryan Benevolent Senior Citizen Home. Many folks who live in senior care facilities have very few visitors, which is why we try to make a little effort to spend some time with the residents offering our help wherever we can. Our clothing drive was a great success!

“At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished… it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.” ― Denzel Washington
